Well, seems that the speed of evolution has been following a steep curwe for this little fellow (midori) since I today installed midori for the first time and started to search for other users experiences finding your blog. My version is 0.1.9 and thus is an evolution from the veriosn u used and I must say I find none of the problems you mention,
Wikipedia is perfect looking and http://www.flashpreviews.com/ is by no means a challenge to Midori.
May it be the fact that I am using Linux.
There is offcourse things missing and features wanted, but for those beeing implemented already they worked out of the box. flawless!
(for ubuntu users open the terminal and type
sudo apt-get install midori
and off you go, or actually "ONline you go".)
