As a Windows 7 user if you want to customize automatic update settings for Windows Media Player you need to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with administrator account.

  2. Click on Windows Media Player icon to initiate the program.

  3. From the opened interface click on Organize menu and from the available list click on Options.

  4. On the opened box go to Player tab.

  5. Under Automatic updatessection choose the appropriate radio button as required.

  6. Once you are done with the configuration click on Ok button to save the changes that you have made.
