Changing the Appearance of IE in Windows 7

As default nature of Internet Explorer in Windows 7 it allows the operating system to take care of the color schemes and the languages in it. This means that whenever any website is visited in Internet Explorer 8 the appearance of the website is adjusted according to the color scheme and appearance offered by the Windows itself. In normal situations and in both production and home environments where everything goes normally this default configuration serves the purpose at its best. Since the default color scheme and appearance of the Internet Explorer is very common majority of users are used to it and they find this configuration user friendly. However in some critical conditions where this configuration is not liked or recommended by the users or organizations it can be changed accordingly. As a Windows 7 user or administrator if you want to change the color scheme of the Internet Explorer 8 you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with any user or administrator account.

  2. Click on Start button and from the appeared menu click on Control Panel option.

  3. On the open window click on Network and Internet link.

  4. On the next window click on Internet Options.

  5. On Internet Properties box make sure that you are on General tab and under Appearance section click on Colors.

  6. On the opened new box choose the appropriate settings as desired and click on Okbuttons on all the boxes to save the changes.
