DirectX Diagnostic in Windows 7

Well if you really take care of your system and you really give attention towards DirectX you should know from where to get all the information about your installed DirectX. For the first time when you run DirectX Diagnostic tool you will be asked for the WHQL Digital Signature. For that you must click YES. After following these steps you will be taken to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. The first tab is the System Tab where you will get all the information about your system and importantly DirectX version. In Windows 7 DirectX 11 (which is the latest version of all DirectX series) is installed at the time of Windows installation. The next tab is the Display Tab which will show you your display device manufacture chip type monitor etc. and also the DirectX features like DirectDraw Acceleration Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration with the drivers. It also gives you the Sound tab with your Primary and Secondary Sounds Devices. And the last tab is the Input Tab which will show you your input devices such as keyboard mouse gamepad etc. You can run test in all these tabs for optimal settings and results and it will guide you through troubleshooting process as well. To get this follow these steps

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with any account.

  2. From the Start menu in search box type DXDIAGand press enter.
