Since nowadays Facebook is used by many people every Facebook user wants his other friends to start using Facebook so that they can stay in touch even if they are not able to meet each other in real. Keeping these things in mind Facebook allows users to invite their friends using their e-mail addresses and this step can be used right after a new user account has been created in Facebook. When a Facebook user has sent an invitation to another user to join Facebook the receiver gets an e-mail containing an invitation. Once the receiver joins Facebook using the invitation mail the sender receives a notification mail informing him about the joining of a new user through his invitation. Sometimes these notification e-mails are not required by the senders and they want to disable this feature. As a Facebook user if you want to do so you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. Click on the triangle at the top right corner of the page.

  3. From the list click on Account Settings.

  4. On the opened page click on Notifications from the left pane.

  5. From the right pane under All Notifications category click on Facebook.

  6. From the expanded list check the checkbox in front of Joins Facebook after your inviteoption.

  7. Click on Save Changes button finally.
