Sumo Paint

These online apps are getting better and better with every day week month... so if only our Internet connections could keep up with them that would really be awesome! On the other hand as long as you don't need to edit 4 GB videos using some Web-based tool everything should be pretty cool despite the fact that we just can't compare the speed of online services to locally installed software at least not yet. Anyway today it's not about editing videos since those few such tools available don't get as far as Sumo Paint goes when it comes to creating and editing images...

... because one inexperienced user can be easily fooled into believing that he's facing Adobe Photoshop instead of Sumo Paint running in full screen mode! More than just running as a Web-based app Sumo Paint also offers a Pro edition that can be installed on your computer and ran anytime you need it no matter if your computer is connected to the Internet or not. It runs on Windows Macintosh and Linux operating systems being a piece of code created using Adobe AIR. More details about it can be found here. Awesome!

Features? Heh I think that's something you really have to try for yourselves since Sumo Paint offers layers a lot of filters painting tools effects... too bad you can't save using the PSD file format but at least you can use the SUMO file format next to PNG and JPG to save images to your computer and this format supports layers. More than the above there's also a really cool store at your disposal but I'll leave it for you to discover since everything about Sumo Paint is (way too) great to be missed as I was just saying. All right no more talking GET TO IT RIGHT NOW!!! ;)
