Last week we talked about a Firefox addon that's really useful to people who need to get information from sites using a language they don't know namely ImTranslator. This week I decided to find a similar browser extension for Opera since I've been using this browser for quite a while now and to be honest I need this kind of help more and more often as time passes by... so get ready to Translate!

Although it would be a huge lie to say that Translate can get near to ImTranslator's features this Opera extension surely comes with its own strong points: really easy to use just a few options to mess with no special user interaction needed just pressing a button - sometimes even that's no needed for example if you choose to have all pages automatically translated. The numbers look like this: current version is 1.4 released on the 26th of January 2011 its size is about 46 KB while the current rating after 159 user votes and no less than 324460 downloads is 3.5/5 stars.

Other than the above... I think you should just get Translate visit some foreign language pages and see how it behaves. Speaking for myself I should only say that I think Translate can handle (almost) every translation-related task I need attended to from time to time and after all this is what really matters. These being said I'll get back to some of those Russian sites I am keeping an eye on - no it's nothing about Russian brides or midget porn trust me! ;)
