Use Your Windows 7 Computer As Your Personal Assistant

In your busy schedule it is quite normal that you forget your meetings and other important appointments. Many users set reminders in their mobile phones whereas others ask their wives or kids to remind them about their appointments when the time comes. A person using laptop PC or a desktop having Windows 7 installed on it can use the machine as his personal assistant by using Sticky Notes feature offered by Microsoft. With the help of Sticky Notes users can tag the important tasks on the desktops. In a nutshell Sticky Notes is a tool integrated in Windows 7 on which you can type your To Do list. Since this tool is always placed on the Windows desktop screen it helps users remembering their scheduled meetings and appointments. As a busy user you can also prioritize your tasks by placing several Sticky Notes in the order of their precedence. You can start the Sticky Notes tool by following the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Windows 7 computer with any user account (this feature does not require any elevated privileges).
  2. Click on Start button and from the start menu point your mouse pointer to All Programs.
  3. From the appeared list go to Accessories and click on Sticky Notes.
  4. Once Sticky Notes tool is initiated it will be displayed on your Windows desktop screen and you can start typing your To Do list on it.
