A few days ago Sony put an end to months of rumors regarding the release of its PlayStation 4 console. In an official announcement made at the Gamescom conference in Cologne Germany Sony revealed the launch dates for Europe and North America. More than that War Thunder was also revealed to be one of the titles available for it on launch.

The next-gen video game console will launch in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29. Its competitors are Nintendo's Wii U and Microsoft's upcoming Xbox One all part of the eighth generation of such devices.

The Sony PlayStation 4 features a semi-custom octo-core AMD APU 8 GB of unified GDDR5 memory as well as WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity Ethernet and USB 3.0 ports.

Its basic bundle does not include the PlayStation Camera a motion sensing input device that features two 1280X800 cameras and a four-channel microphone array. Xbox 360 Kinect's competitor will be priced at $59.

The price of the console remains unchanged $399 for the basic 500 GB console bundle. More than that the customers can also try the PlayStation Plus subscription for 14 days for free... or they can just enjoy free launch titles like War Thunder Warframe and DC Universe Online.

P.S. Did I mention that War Thunder is awesome? I guess I did since this is the second time we talk about it here so let's leave this title alone and get ready for some more PC tips and tricks as usual. We'll get back to them tomorrow so stay tuned!
