Back in the days when I was a kid, there was a period for my Tetris madness: I could have played with my Tetris for hours at incredible speeds, pressing the buttons only based on the next piece shown, not even looking at any other part of the display. From time to time, I see Tetris emerging here and there – you can play it on your mobile phone, on most Flash games websites… so why not have it inside your beloved Firefox, too? ![]()

With its official Mozilla page located here, Xultris is a Tetris variant that could have been great, yet it has a little big problem – its server seems to be down most of the time, so playing it online with someone else is not an option. If you can get over that, even a single player game from time to time can be quite fun, trust me!

The other home of Xultris is here, while its current version is labeled 3.0 and was released in mid-June, 2010. Other than that, you should know that Xultris works with Firefox 3.6.* – 4.0b8pre and, after 106,760 downloads and 10 user reviews, has an average rating of 5/5 stars! I wouldn’t go that far with my rating, but I can’t deny the fact that Xultris will surely bring back pleasant memories to a lot of the older ones reading this, so… take it for a spin and bring back those good old days, will you? That’s all, folks!
