Add Family Members to Facebook Account

Facebook offers a unique feature that allows their account holders to add family members in their profiles. This allows users to make their profiles uniquely identifiable whenever any person searches for them. It is recommended that family members who are added to a user's profile should also have a Facebook account so that whenever their names are displayed their profiles can also be viewed hence increasing the social network remarkably. Along with the names of family members users can also specify the relationships with them for example mother father cousin wife husband etc. People also use this feature to specify close relationships with their friends whom they take as their online brothers or sisters. As a Facebook user if you want to specify a family member in your profile you can follow the steps given below:

1. Open desired web browser and go to www.Facebook.com.

2. Provide appropriate credentials and logon to your account.

3. Click on the link specifying your name at the top right corner of the page.

4. On the opened page click on Edit Profile button from the top left corner.

5. On the new page click on Friends and Family option from the left pane of the page.

6. On the right section of the page type in the name of the family member you want to add in Family section.

7. Specify the relationship by clicking on the drop-down list option mentioning Select Relation.

   

8. Once you are done click on Save Changes button link to make the changes permanent.
