When media files are burned on the discs using Windows Media Player application many times users might noticed that the files are not arranged in the manner they were expected. Even if users try to burn the files on the disks by categorizing them in different folders expected arrangement of the files is still not achieved after burning process is complete. The reason behind this is that Windows Media Player is by default configured to arrange the files according to their information stored in them. This makes the arrangement of the files visibly haphazard while burning them to the media. This nature of Windows Media Player can be changed and as a Windows 7 user if you want to do so you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with the account that has administrative privileges.

  4. On Options box go to Burn tab.

  5. Uncheck Use media information to arrange files in folders on the disccheckbox.

  6. Click on Ok button after you are convinced with the new settings of Windows Media Player.
