Automatically Logon Yahoo! Messenger to Mobile Phone in Windows 7

Since Yahoo! Messenger is used and appreciated by almost every user worldwide users find it quite convenient to logon to Yahoo! Messenger from their mobile devices when they are logged off from the computer systems. This configuration ensures that users are always within reach of their relatives and friends even if there not in front of laptop PCs or desktop computers. Users need to register their mobile phones with Yahoo server though. As a default configuration whenever users want to logon to mobile devices they need to do so manually by selecting appropriate option from Messenger menu. However users can also configure Yahoo! Messenger to logon to mobile device automatically as soon as they logoff from the computer systems and as Yahoo! Messenger user in Windows 7 if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Yahoo! Messenger chat application by providing appropriate credentials in the available interface.

  2. Go to Messenger menu and from the available list of options click on Preferences option.

  3. On the opened box from the left pane make sure that General category is selected.

  4. From the right pane under Signing out of Yahoo! Messenger section check Always sign in to my mobile phone when I sign out of Messengercheckbox.

  5. Click on Ok button when you are done.
