Change Facebook Account Password

Since it is IT era nowadays no more signatures are used for the verification of an individual. Nowadays if a person needs to verify his authenticity he needs to provide password or use any other biometric authentication method. In more than 80% cases passwords are used to authenticate the identity of a person and same is the case with Facebook. This means that in order to authenticate a valid user user needs to provide his e-mail address (which is used as the username for Facebook) and its corresponding password to complete the authentication process. Since passwords play important role in entire process it is always recommended that you should keep on changing them on a regular basis. As a Facebook account holder if you want to change your Facebook password you can follow the steps given as below:

  1. Logon to Facebook account by providing appropriate credentials.

  2. Click on down facing triangle available at top right corner of the main page.

  3. From the available list click on Account Settings.

  4. On Account Settings page make sure that you are on General category from the left pane.

  5. From the right pane click on Passwords.

  6. On the appeared fields provide current password in Current field and type and retype new password in New and Re-typenew fields respectively.

  7. Once done click on Save Changes button to configure new Facebook password.
