BitComet torrent client application is not only limited to the downloading processes related to torrent files but it can also download the files directly from the Internet itself. Since every download link available on the Internet redirects users to a different URL the entire URL can be captured to the clipboard so that it can be used to download the destination file using the default download manager that might be installed on Windows 7 operating system. If BitComet is installed and is configured as the default downloading application its integration with the clipboard is by default configured. Many times this default configuration is quite helpful for the users as every download process that takes place becomes ‘Resume Supported’ however many times users may want to disable this feature for several security reasons and if as a BitComet user in Windows 7 operating system if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer on which BitComet torrent client application is installed and click on its icon to initiate its instance.

  2. On the opened interface click on Tools menu and from the list click on Options option.

  3. On the opened box from the left pane click on Integration and from the right pane under Clipboard Integration uncheck Capture URL in Clipboardcheckbox.

  4. Click on Ok button to save the configuration.
