Disable Facebook Email Notification for Uploaded Photos via Emails

Facebook also allows its users to interact with the website through the e-mail accounts which are associated with their Facebook accounts. Although Facebook provides several features which can be availed through e-mails however one of the best features that site offers is that users can upload their photos via e-mails as well. Whenever a user uploads his photo on Facebook through e-mail he receives a notification e-mail informing the up loader about the successful upload process. This mail allows users to know that task was successfully completed and they might sometimes want to keep these e-mails to maintain the records. There might also be times however when users may not want these e-mail notifications in order to avoid excess of junk e-mails in their inboxes and if as a Facebook user you want to disable these e-mail notifications you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. Click at the triangle available at the top right corner of the page.

  3. From the available list click on Account Settings and from the opened page in the left pane click on Notifications section.

  4. From the right pane under All Notifications category click on Photosoption.

  5. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of When you upload a photo via email and finally click on Save Changes button to save the changes.
