Like Several other features Facebook also allows users to create and ask questions that can be answered by any user who is either added in the friends list of the creator of the question or if the question is posted in any Group all the members of the group are authorized to answer it. Whenever a question is posted in a Group all the members of that Group receive a notification about it mentioning that the creator of the question has posted something. Whenever any user replies to that question the creator receives an e-mail notification along with a flash on the webpage informing about the response. In many cases e-mail notifications are not mandatory and if as a Facebook user you do not want to receive e-mail notifications for the answers to the questions you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. From the top right corner of the main webpage click on the triangle facing downwards.

  3. From the appeared list click on Account Settings option.

  4. On the opened page from the left pane click on Notification and from the right pane under All Notifications options click on Questions.

  5. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Answers your question option and click on Save Changes button to save the changes.
