Disable Notifications for Comments on Your Facebook Notes

As a creator of Notes in Facebook it is quite obvious that after creating them you will tag several friends to your Notes so that they can read them and share their views on the topic. They can share their views in the form of comments which they can type in the available field that is just below the Note. Whenever any of your friend posts his comment on any of your Notes you as the creator of the Note receive a flash notification on the Facebook webpage along with an e-mail which is sent from Facebook to the associated e-mail account. Under normal circumstances only a flash notifications are important so that users can be informed about the latest comments almost instantaneously and considering this if as a Facebook user you want to disable e-mail notifications for the comments on Notes you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account by typing in your credentials in the specified blank fields.

  2. Click on the triangle facing downwards at top right corner of Facebook webpage.

  3. From the available list click on Account Settings option.

  4. From the left pane on the opened page click on Notifications category.

  5. On the right pane of the same page under All Notifications category click on Notesoption.

  6. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Comments on your notes option and click on Save Changes button to save changes.
