Disable Notifications for Requested Answers to Facebook Questions

As a Facebook user and creator of any question you can suggest your question to as many friends as you want and you can also ask your friends to answer your question if you find that their answer is valuable. The main line here is that you can literally request any of your friends to answer the question that you have created and when they do so you receive a flash notification on Facebook webpage. A notifying e-mail from Facebook is sent to your associated e-mail account as well. Flash notifications are instantaneous alarms which allow users to know about the activity that took place whereas e-mail notifications are sent to inform users if they are offline and are also helpful while maintaining official records. Many times these e-mail notifications are not required and if as a Facebook user you want to disable this feature you can follow the steps provided as below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. Click on the triangle available at top right corner of the Facebook webpage.

  3. From the appeared list of options click on Account Settings.

  4. Click on Notifications category from the opened page in the left pane.

  5. From the right pane under All Notifications options click on Questionsoption.

  6. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Answers a question you asked them to answer option and click on Save Changes button to make the changes permanent.
