Disable Notifications when Facebook Page is Suggested

If you are Facebook user and you have several friends added in your friend list there might be times when many of your friends would like to suggest you Facebook Pages of your interests so that you can participate in the discussions that take place on them. In order to let you know about the suggestions Facebook flashes a notification on the main webpage if you are online and also sends a notification e-mail to the associated e-mail account. These e-mails are sometimes important for organizations in order to maintain official records however there might be times especially while using Facebook in homes when these e-mails are not at all required. Therefore as a Facebook user if you want to disable this feature of sending e-mail notifications whenever a Page is suggested to you you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. Click on downward facing triangle available at top right corner of Facebook webpage.

  3. From the list click on Account Settings.

  4. From the left pane on the opened webpage click on Notifications category and from the right pane on the same webpage under All Notifications click on Pagesoption.

  5. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Suggests a Page to you option and click on Save Changes button to make the changes permanent.
