When a user uses windows’ built-in tools for system maintenance the entire process becomes low costing method to keep the system up to date at least for home users. However most tools which are provided by Windows are scattered around at different locations and users sometimes may find it complicated to search them if they want to use them for system maintenance. In such cases home users look for any application which can work as one-stop shop for all these built in Windows applications. In other words it would be best for home users to initiate all built in Windows standard maintenance applications from a single console. To solve this problem many third-party applications are developed which can be downloaded as evaluation versions and then can be purchased online if found satisfactory. An example of such application is Ashampoo WinOptimizer which offers almost everything within a single console including major system maintenance tools tweaking tools etc. As an administrator of a computer you can initiate Windows provided built in system tools through the optimizer by following the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Windows 7 computer with any account that has administrative or equivalent privileges and double click on the shortcut icon of Ashampoo WinOptimizer.
  2. On the opened console click on Tuning Tools in the left side and from the right pane click on Windows Standard Tools button.
  3. On the appeared page you will find three Windows standard tools which are mostly used to enhance the performance of the operating systems.
  4. Choose the appropriate built-in tool as per your requirement and once you're done with the task restart your computer to get the optimum performance.
