Installing BitComet on Windows 7 computer serves no good until and unless users are not able to import any torrent file so that the application can download the data from the Internet. Many people are unaware of the fact that although the torrent file is of not more than 100 KBs original data which is to be downloaded using the file is of its original size. For example if a movie file is of 650 MB its torrent file still can be of not more than 20 KB or so which can be downloaded from any torrent site. The actual movie file can then be downloaded when the torrent file of 20 KB is imported to BitComet application. As a Windows 7 user if you want to import any torrent files in the application you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to the Windows 7 computer.

  2. Open BitComet application.

  3. From the opened interface click on Open icon available under the menu bar.

  4. Once opened browse for and locate the torrent file of your choice and finally click on Open button to start the installation process.

Notice: Make sure that you download the torrent file from the safe site as sometimes the files can be named attractively and may contain some harmful script which unintentionally can be downloaded by you.
