Spam spam spam. I hate spam. My Yahoo! Mail is full of spam so I’ve decided to move to Gmail. It’s good but I wasn’t able to avoid spam…

The problem is that you can’t be 100% sure that the company/site that you’re giving your email to will not sell it in order to avoid this problem Firefox has an add-on called “Less spam please”. It’s an add-on that allows you to create a temporary email address on one of the following services “YopMail MailForSpam Humalitiy etc ”. It’s a cool add-on so now if you want to check out any services which requires registration you can do that without ever again worrying about spam.

Step 1: Install the add-on ”https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/less-spam-please/

Step 2: After installing restart Firefox and then open the add-on manager.

Step 3: Set your preference by choosing the “Mail address prefix” (example: andrew@yopmail.com) and the “preferred provider”.

Step 4: On any site that you would like to check out right click in the email field select “Insert a temporary mail address for this site”.

Step 5: To open your temporary email right click and select “Open the temporary address for this site”

That’s it for now folks.
