Face recognition is a popular technique these days and many companies in Japan use face recognition to mange their employers data so that when an employee arrives at work the camera records the arrival moment and the leaving moment. In Windows there are many applications that allow you to login to your Windows account just by sitting in front of your computer camera. This is an important feature especially if you are working in a public place.

keylemon - One of the best commercial applications that allow you to login to your Windows account using your face. It works quickly and is simple while being available for only 20$. keylemon supports Windows XP/Vista/7 and it also has many features:

  • Automatically login to your Windows account using your face.
  • Automatically login to different social networks like Facebook Twitter Myspace etc...
  • Automatically logs out the user when he/she is not sitting in the front of the camera.

Blink - Is a free application that works similar to keylemon but has less features and is available for free.
