Place Videos Link in Start Menu in Windows 7

In Windows 7 Documents Pictures and Music links are by default available in start menu. These links prove to be quite handy for the users as they provide direct access to the folders and the contents in it. The entire list of links available in the menu is considered complete except of one missing link that is of Videos. This link is not by default available in start menu however it can be manually placed by going through a few simple steps. This configuration is user specific and therefore users are not required to have elevated privileges in order to accomplish the task. As a Windows 7 user if you want to place Videos link in the start menu you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with the user account on which you want to enable Videos link.

  2. Right click on Start button and hit on Properties.

  3. On Taskbar and Start Menu Properties box make sure that you are on Start Menu tab and click on Customize button.

  4. On Customize Start Menu box go to Videos section and select Display as a linkradio button.

  5. Once done click on Ok button to save the changes that you have made.
