Rapidshare Alternative Of the Week – Uploading

Need to upload some larger archive and you're still looking for a Rapidshare alternative? Don't worry I already have something good for you - consider it a "post-Christmas present" if you want I really have nothing against that. Ready or not let's start uploading! ;)

Uploading is a free/premium file upload service similar to Rapidshare and to make it all a matter of personal taste it's just as annoying as its competitor when it comes to file downloads making you wait for a countdown to finish before being able to get the file you want. Oh well... you know it's just as it usually happens with such services: you don't like what you get for free then step forward with the money!

As I write this I upload one archive for testing purposes. Its size is about 190 MB and I must say the whole process is painfully slow. The good part is that despite the upload bandwidth limit maximum file size is 1 GB more than the average you'll get from the average file upload service without signing up for an account be it free or paid.

Uploading's premium membership starts at $4.95 for 3 days and goes to $49.95 a year offering unlimited bandwidth storage space and removing ads daily limits countdowns. If you really need to move so much data around you should consider a premium account or even better a hosting account for your own storage needs - it doesn't really get much more expensive after all! ;)
