Since BitComet torrent client application tightly integrates with Internet Explorer which is installed on a Windows 7 computer many features of IE can easily be controlled using the interface of BitComet application. Example can be ‘Save As’ option which is available in the context menu of Internet Explorer whenever a user right clicks on the link which allows them to download any file. Moreover since BitComet is a torrent client application it also allows Internet Explorer users to modify the nature of saving the torrent files using Internet Explorer default ‘Save As’ box. With the help of BitComet configuration options users can disable ‘Save As’ box in Internet Explorer for the files that have .torrent extensions. As a BitComet user in Windows 7 if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer on which BitComet torrent client application is installed and double click on its icon to initiate the application.

  2. Click on Tools menu and then click on Options.

  3. From the opened box from the left pane click on Integration and from the right pane under IE Integration section check Disable ‘Save As’ Dialog for .torrent file downloadcheckbox.

  4. Click on Ok button when done with the configuration.
