Surf Internet without Opening Web Browser in Windows 7

When a laptop PC or a desktop is purchased for home use it is expected by the users that they will surf Internet in great deal and therefore they will frequently use any web browser for the purpose. The default web browser in Windows 7 is Internet Explorer 8 and users can also install third party web browsers like Mozilla Firefox for better performances. Whatsoever the case is every time users need to surf through the Internet they are required to open default browser in order to do so. However many users do not know that they can surf the Internet right from their taskbars by placing Address bar near system tray. As a Windows 7 user if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with any account on which you want to configure above mentioned settings.

  2. Right click on the taskbar and from the appeared menu go to Properties.

  3. On Taskbar and Start Menu Properties box go to Toolbars tab.

  4. From the available boxes check Address checkbox and click on Okbutton to save the changes you have made.

You will be displayed with the address bar at right corner of the taskbar.
