Terminate Unfamiliar Facebook Active Session

Since Internet is considered as a place where several hackers keep on looking for any loophole in any account so that they can enter into them illegally to harm a particular user or PC Facebook allows users to end any activity that users may find unfamiliar so that any security breach can be avoided. While going through Active Sessions tool provided by Facebook if any time users find that any session that was initiated for their Facebook accounts was from any other location which user has never used he can immediately terminate that session so that the security and privacy of his account can be maintained. As a Facebook account holder if you want to terminate any active session which is unfamiliar to you you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account using appropriate credentials.

  2. Click on the triangle available at the top right corner of the page and from the available list click on Account Settings.

  3. From the opened page in the left pane account Security option.

  4. From the right pane click on Active Sessions.

  5. Click on End Activity link available in front of the session which you find was initiated from any unfamiliar location or device.
