YouTube AdsFree

One of the things I really hate about YouTube are the Google ads that show up inside videos but there's something even worse than that (well maybe except all those Justin Bieber videos) - exactly the VEVO links to videos that are not available in my location!!! If you want to come up with a better service than YouTube currently offers this is one of the first things to keep in mind - don't display ads that lead nowhere all right? Well now that we know what's really bad about YouTube... what about fixing it?

YouTube AdsFree is an Opera extension that claims to be able to remove annoying popup ads on YouTube videos and even better it can easily remove the branded banners that appear under the video on VEVO channels and other similar ones. Version 1.2 was released on the 6th of May and in most cases works pretty well. Unfortunately it sometimes cuts the part of the video that shows ads but at least removing the branded banners works like a charm. With a size of 20.9 KB YouTube AdsFree 1.2 was downloaded 344530 times so far and has a rating of 4.5/5 stars after no less than 127 user reviews.

Well... I guess that's all of it - YouTube AdsFree is a pretty good ads remove for Opera and if you're one of those many people frequently spending time on YouTube you should definitely take it for a spin. As I was saying earlier this extension may not be perfect yet but it surely improves your YouTube user experience and in the end that's what really matter. Obviously if you have better solutions for removing YouTube ads I'd really like to hear your suggestions. Thank you in advance! ;)
