In earlier days if people needed to burn data on the discs they required a third-party application to do so. These third-party applications even till date are costly and they require a decent amount of processing speed when they are used. Also these third-party applications consume a great amount of disk space which many users do not want to spare for any application which is developed just for burning purpose. Microsoft understands this problem and therefore it has integrated tool in Windows 7 using which users can burn ISO images without any third-party application. Since ISO images are frequently used nowadays you can now burn them to your DVDs or CDs directly from the Windows 7 interface. As a Windows 7 user you can burn any ISO image to a DVD or CD by following the steps given below:

  1. Logon to the Windows 7 computer.
  2. Locate the ISO image file that can be present anywhere in your computer.
  3. Once found right click on the ISO image file and from the appeared context menu point your mouse to Open with option.
  4. From the appeared submenu click on Windows Disk Image Burner and from the opened box click on Burn button. Optionally you can check Verify disc after burning checkbox before burning to check the integrity of the DVD/CD once it is burned.
