Change Default English (US) Language in Facebook

Since Facebook users are scattered all around the globe it is quite obvious that many of them are not quite comfortable with the default English (US) language that is used by the site. Instead there might be majority of users who may want to use Facebook in their own regional languages so that they can stay comfortable while using this social networking site. Keeping this in mind Facebook has also provided a feature using which users can choose the type of language they are comfortable with and this configuration can be done without possessing any technical skills. Moreover there are several people who use this feature to customize their display names to make their profiles looks stylish. As a Facebook account user if you want to change the default English (US) language you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Facebook account by providing appropriate credentials.

  2. On the top of the page from the right side click on the triangle facing downside and from the available list of options click on Account Settings.

  3. On the opened page make sure that you are General option from the left side.

  4. From the right pane choose appropriate language as desired from Choose primary drop-down list available in front of Languageoption.

  5. Finally click on Save Changes button to make the changes persistent.
