Whenever any third-party download manager is installed in Windows 7 operating system ‘Download With..’ option is automatically added to the context menu of Internet Explorer. Same is the case with BitComet torrent client application which when installed on a Windows 7 computer automatically adds ‘Download with BitComet’ option in Internet Explorer context menu. This option allows users to use the torrent client application to download any file which is large in size. The benefit of using the application for downloading is that the file which is to be downloaded becomes ‘Resume Supported’ and even if the Internet connection breaks because of any reason in the middle of downloading process the file can still be downloaded when the connection comes back again. This feature is by default enabled in BitComet application however if users want they can disable this so that they would not get ‘Download with BitComet’ option in the context menu of Internet Explorer. As a BitComet user in Windows 7 if you want to do so you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer on which BitComet application is installed and double-click on its icon to initiate it.

  2. From the opened interface of the application click on Tools menu and then click on Options.

  3. On the opened box click on Integration category in the left pane and from the right pane under IE Integration section uncheck Add ‘Download with BitComet’ to IE Context Menucheckbox.

  4. Finally click on Ok button to save the changes.
