As a Facebook user whenever you answer any question which is asked by any of your friends or in any Group the creator of the question receives a notification about your answer. Moreover your answer can be read by all the members of the Group or if the question is published on your friend’s Wall all his friends can see your answer. Facebook also allows users to comment on any answer that they can see and the person who answered receives a notification about the comment. These notifications on the answers are flashed on the webpage and an e-mail from Facebook is also sent to the associated e-mail account. However if users want they can disable e-mail sending feature for this option by following the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account.

  2. From the top right corner of the page click on the triangle facing downwards.

  3. From the appeared list of options click on Account Settings.

  4. From the left pane on the opened page click on Notifications.

  5. From the right section of the page under All Notifications click on Question option.

  6. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Comments on your answeroption.

  7. At the end click on Save Changes button to make the changes persistent.
