Many third-party disc burning applications that are available in the market or which are downloaded from the Internet have a built in feature which automatically ejects the optical media when the burning process is complete. This feature works as the notification for the users to inform them that the burning process has been completed successfully and now they can go ahead with the next step. Windows Media Player also has this feature available in it and by default it is enabled. Under normal circumstances this configuration is not supposed to be modified however in some special cases users can change the settings and can prevent Windows Media Player from ejecting the media from the drive after the completion of burning process. As Windows Media Player user of Windows 7 if you want to do so you can follow the steps mentioned below:

  4. From the box go to Burn tab.

  5. Under General section uncheck Automatically eject the disc after burningcheckbox.

  6. Once you are convinced with a configuration click on Ok button to save the changes that you have made.
