Enable Logon Notifications on Facebook Account

Facebook offers several features using which users can secure their accounts and can verify as when there accounts were accessed and from which locations and devices. These features are integrated into Facebook keeping in mind that users may want to secure their accounts and may also want to trace the logon locations and devices from where their accounts were accessed when they were not present. One unique feature that is provided by Facebook is Logon Notification which allows users to receive an e-mail whenever the Facebook account is being accessed from any device which they have not used before. This feature allows users to get informed whenever there accounts have been misused or mishandled by any intruder. As a Facebook account user if you want to enable logon notifications you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Facebook user account using right credentials.

  2. Click on the triangle available at the top right corner of the page.

  3. From the available options click on Account Settings and from the opened page click on Security from the left pane.

  4. From the right pane click on Logon Notifications and check Emailcheck box that appears.

  5. Click on Save Changes button to enable the feature.
