Finding a decent weather forecast for your location is pretty easy - you just need to look for "weather in New York" once then bookmark the best page you bump into and get back to it every time you need to check your local weather. On the other hand this approach may require a few clicks too many and no matter what you may say Forecastfox Weather looks much better not to mention that you can see the weather and short-term forecasts without a single click! ;)

Forecastfox Weather 2.0.2 was released back in late September 2010 currently having a 4/5 rating on Mozilla.org after no less than 481 reviews and almost 22000000 downloads. Pretty impressive numbers if you ask me but since I started with the numbers-related part let me add that Forecastfox Weather 2.0.2 works with Firefox 3.0 - 4.0.* and I find it really nice since most Firefox 4.0-compatible addons don't work with previous versions of the browser. Forecastfox Weather gets forecasts from AccuWeather.com displaying them in any toolbar you may have inside your browser as well as in your statusbar. Speaking for myself I just moved it to that awesome samfind bookmarks toolbar I told you about not so long ago...

... and before we go I also have to show you the way to the official Forecastfox Weather home where you can also find a version for Google Chrome of this addon not to mention that you can change the icon sets as you wish and in case the first of the two screenshots in this article isn't clear enough you should also keep in mind that messing with this Firefox addon's options is as easy as visiting just another webpage. Awesome! :)
