Groups created in Yahoo! Messenger chat application are not only useful in categorizing the contacts but they are also helpful when a common task is to be performed on all the contacts which are added in the group. Example can be inviting all the contacts of the group to a conference. If there were no groups in Yahoo! Messenger users were required to add contacts manually to the conference whereas with the help of groups users can now simply right click on the group to invite all the added members to a conference in a single go. This feature saves a decent amount of time of the users and saves several mouse clicks as well. As a Yahoo! Messenger chat user if you want to invite the entire group to a conference in a single go you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Yahoo! Messenger chat application by providing appropriate credentials in its interface.

  2. At the bottom of the messenger list right click on the name of the group contacts of which you want to invite to a conference in a single go.

  3. From the available list click on Invite this Group to a conference option and finally click on Invite button on the next box to start the conference.
