View Multiple Instances of Application Quickly in Windows 7

One of the most hectic and tedious tasks that Windows 7 users face while using Internet Explorer as a default web browser is that if they have opened multiple instances of the application it becomes difficult for them to locate the desired one from the available list in the taskbar. Although they can move their mouse pointer to the Internet Explorer icon available in the taskbar and can have a view of all the opened instances but the view is not clear enough to specify the exact contents of the browser. Windows 7 helps these kinds of users by providing feature of using combination of keyboard and mouse clicks so that users can get the exact preview of all the instances of the web browser and can choose the desired one according to their requirements. As a Windows 7 user if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with any account.

  2. Open multiple instances of Internet Explorer by double-clicking on its icon in the taskbar several times.

  3. Once opened just to check you can take your mouse pointer to its icon and all the opened instances will be displayed as sort of thumbnail icons.

  4. You can now press and hold Ctrl key and click on Internet Explorericon in the taskbar with the mouse. Every time you click on the icon the next instance of the browser will be displayed as a preview on the full-screen.

  5. You can release Ctrl key and stop clicking the mouse once you have reached the desired page to start working on it.
