Since Yahoo! Messenger chat application is not only used in production environments or homes but in many cases it is used by individuals for entertainment purposes as well. These users usually visit several chat rooms which are available in the Yahoo! Messenger and they interact with several new people simultaneously. If such users have Webcams installed in their computer systems they can configure Yahoo! Messenger application to allow users in the chat room to view their Webcams. By default this feature is disabled in the application and if users want they can enable it with the help of a few mouse clicks. It is recommended that this feature should only be enabled if users are not much concerned about the security issues and their computer systems do not contain any sensitive information. As a Yahoo! 3. On the opened box in the left pane click on Webcam category.

  4. In the right pane check If I am in a chat room allow people in the chat room to view my webcamcheckbox.

  5. Click on Ok button when done.
