As soon as BitComet torrent client application is installed on a Windows 7 computer it automatically integrates itself with Internet Explorer by installing IE extension on the computer. This allows Internet Explorer on Windows 7 computer to download several file types using BitComet torrent client application as the default downloading tool. Although almost every file format is specified in the configuration of the application so that users can download any type of file that they come across while surfing through the Internet. Still if users feel that they are not able to download any specific file type they can specify its extension in BitComet file capture list so that the application can start downloading that file type as well. As a BitComet user in Windows 7 if you want to do so you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer on which BitComet torrent client application is installed and double click on its icon to initiate it.

  2. On the opened interface click on Tools menu and then click on Options option.

  3. On the opened box from the left pane click on Integration and from the right pane under IE Integration section add the file extension in the available text box in front of Capture file download for following file typescheckbox.

  4. Finally click on Ok button to save the changes.
