- Logon to the computer with administrator’s account and double-click on the shortcut icon of Ashampoo Win Optimizer present on the desktop. (If you logged on with a normal user account you need to right click on the icon of the application and from the context menu choose Run as Administrator).
- On the opened applications console make sure that you are on Cleaning Tools section in the left pane and from the right pane click on Registry Cleaner button.
- On the next page click on Start a new scan link and once the scan is complete click on Delete all selected items (listed in Details) link to clean the registry.
- Once done close all the windows and box and restart your Windows 7 computer to allow change to take effect.
