With the help of this application you can clean your overpopulated registry file and delete unnecessary entries with a single click. As an administrator of a computer you can follow the steps given below to use the application as an efficient registry cleaning tool.

  1. Logon to the computer with administrator’s account and double-click on the shortcut icon of Ashampoo Win Optimizer present on the desktop. (If you logged on with a normal user account you need to right click on the icon of the application and from the context menu choose Run as Administrator).
  2. On the opened applications console make sure that you are on Cleaning Tools section in the left pane and from the right pane click on Registry Cleaner button.
  3. On the next page click on Start a new scan link and once the scan is complete click on Delete all selected items (listed in Details) link to clean the registry.
  4. Once done close all the windows and box and restart your Windows 7 computer to allow change to take effect.
