While using Facebook several people create several Events and invite many people to participate in those Events. As a Facebook user if you are invited to any Event you receive a notification that is flashed on the webpage and simultaneously a notification e-mail is also sent to the associated e-mail account that you have mapped with your Facebook account. Just like the invitation notification of any Event that is sent to your e-mail account notification for the cancellation of any Event is also flashed on the webpage and an e-mail is also sent to the e-mail account that you have mapped. Many times these e-mail notifications are not at all required as they eat up a decent amount of space and as a Facebook user if you want to disable this feature you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account and click on the triangle available at top right corner of the page.

  2. From the appeared list click on Account Settings and from the opened page click on Notifications category from the left pane.

  3. From the right pane under All Notifications category click on Events option and from the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Cancels an eventoption.

  4. Finally click on Save Changes button to save the changes.
