In Facebook whenever a video is shared by any of your friends and you have been tagged to that video you can comment on it along with several other people who are also tagged on the same video. Whenever you are tagged you receive a notification for it and whenever other people comment on the video on which you are tagged you receive a flashing notification mentioning “video of you” which is followed by the name of the person who has commented. Along with this flash notification you also receive an e-mail from Facebook which is a notification mail about the comment on the video on which you are tagged. In many cases these e-mail notifications are not required as they are not used to maintain official records when talking about home users and therefore it is recommended that these notifications through e-mails should be disabled. As a Facebook user if you want to do so you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account after providing your credentials.

  2. Click on the triangle available at top right corner of the page.

  3. From the list that is appeared click on Account Settings option.

  4. Click on Notifications category from the left pane on the opened page.

  5. From the right pane on the same page click on Video options under All Notificationscategory.

  6. From the expanded list uncheck the checkbox in front of Comments on a video of you option and click on Save Changes button to save the changes.
