Disable Notifications for Change in Facebook Group Privacy Settings

Every Group that is created in Facebook has its own privacy settings which can be configured in order to secure the Group from unwanted attacks and IDs. When a Group is created by default the creator of the Group becomes the administrator and gets the authority of changing the privacy settings of that Group. Whenever privacy settings of any Group his modified all the members of that Group are automatically notified about the changes that have been made to the Group. As default notifications of modifications in privacy settings of the Group are flashed on the webpage and simultaneously an e-mail notification for each update is also sent to the associated e-mail account. As a Facebook user if you want to disable this e-mail sending feature you can follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to your Facebook account by providing appropriate credentials.

  2. Click on the available triangle at the top right corner of the page.

  3. From the available list click on Account Settings and from the opened page click on Notifications on the left pane.

  4. From the right pane under All Notifications section click on Groups option and from the appeared list uncheck the checkbox in front of Changes the privacy settings of one of your groupsoption.

  5. Finally click on Save Changes button to save the changes.
