Keep Now Playing on Top of Windows in Windows 7

When Windows Media Player is used to play any media file the currently playing file is always shown as Now Playing. While playing the file if a user starts using another application Now Playing file is automatically sent to background and the active application is displayed in the foreground. However users can change this configuration so that they can see Now Playing file at every moment. This makes them look at the file and its details so that they can use it according to their needs. This configuration by default is disabled that is Now Playing is sent to background and as a Windows 7 user if you want to allow it to be available on top of all the Windows every time you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with the account on which you want this configuration to return.

  2. Click on Windows Media Player icon on the opened interface click on Organize menu.

  3. From the available list click on Options.

  4. On the opened box go to Player tab.

  5. Under Player settings section check Keep Now Playing on top of other windowscheckbox.

  6. Finally click on Ok button once you are done with the configuration.
