Limit Download Speed of BitComet in Windows 7

When any torrent application is installed on a computer it consumes almost all the bandwidth of the Internet and does not allow users to open any other web page smoothly. This means that when the entire Internet bandwidth consumed by the torrent application users experience slow Internet performance for any other Internet activity which sometimes be quite irritating for them. Torrent application vendors understand this problem and therefore in almost every application they integrate the feature using which maximum download speed can be specified manually. This feature ensures that users are able to surf the Internet at their ease and perform the download tasks using torrent application at the same time. As a BitComet user of Windows 7 if you want to limit maximum downloading speed in the application you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer.

  2. Double-click on the icon of BitComet to initiate the application.

  3. On the opened interface click on Tools menu and from the available menu click on Options.

  4. On the opened box make sure that Connection is selected from the left pane and from the right pane under General Settings section specify the maximum download limit as desired using the box in front of Global Max Download Rateoption.

  5. Click on Ok button to save the changes.
