As a Windows 7 user it is quite obvious that you might be working on multiple applications in separate windows on a computer very often. As a busy user sometimes you might also get confused as which window you were working on and you might mess up all the things and end up completing your tasks with several errors. A solution to this confusion can be that you can minimize all other inactive windows on which you are not working for some time and keep only active window maximized. This tedious process can be simplified with the help of Windows 7 and as a busy user if you want to do so you are required to follow the steps given below:

  1. Logon to Windows 7 computer with any account (standard user account can also work).

  2. Open two or three Windows (can be any application window or Windows Explorer).

  3. Make the desired window active by clicking on it.

  4. To minimize the remaining Windows in a single go press Windows key + Home key.

  5. In order to restore all Windows back to their original state press Windows key + Home key again.

Note: The above mentioned keys work as toggle to minimize or maximize all the windows except the active ones.
