Windows Startup Speed Benchmark

I don't know about you but I simply don't care if my Windows loads in 1 minute 30 seconds or it takes as much as 2-3 minutes to get ready for me after I press that big power button located on the front panel of my case. Well I don't have any secret pleasure in wasting time it's only the fact that I have to load Windows only a few times a month in worst case. I even got my desktop computer up for almost two months once so I feel no need to check how fast my Windows loads but in case you want to know that your latest tweaks really helped your computer start faster... you really have to take a look at BootRacer!

This time I didn't install this program so I'll just tell you what I see on its official page: to take full advantage of its features you need a computer using Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista/Seven/2008 or higher about 6 MB of free disk space and the standard Windows shell - in case you're using Aston Talisman Desktop Emerge Desktop or other similar programs the results obtained won't be trustworthy.

In the end you should remember that BootRacer is a small and useful utility that's easy to install and use doesn't need any administrator account and calculates your Windows boot time as well as providing a log of all previous results. Oh yeah - this tool is free for non-commercial use of course so... get to it will you? Over and out here have a nice weekend and stay safe! ;)
