I really hate people asking obvious questions. Sure there's nothing wrong about asking but when you ask the same questions over and over again then you should see a therapist - something's really wrong with you! The idea is that we're talking about downloading videos from YouTube here - how can you ask me about it over and over when the entire Internet is swarming with tools to help you with that? Today it's all about Easy YouTube Downloader 4 a Firefox addon built to help people get this job done so let's check it out shall we?
Released back in late December 2010 Easy YouTube Downloader 4.0 is supposed to be able to help you download YouTube videos into any of the following formats: FLV 3GP MP3 MP4. Obviously it shouldn't be any problem if you want to download 720p or 1080p videos but...
... the current version doesn't support download to 3GP files and a lot of people seem to be complaining about this. Speaking for myself I just don't care about 3GP files since I use my phone as what it is not to stare at YouTube videos on a 3 inch screen. Unfortunately downloading to MP3 files sounds like a good idea in theory but practice kills it - when you try to download the audio track of a YouTube video you end up on a site that is supposed to help you save that audio track. Enough to say that it didn't work for me but feel free to drop a comment below if it works for you maybe I just need to try harder!
Obviously Easy YouTube Downloader 4 is a free Firefox addon and as long as you don't go visit its official site everything should be fine. Just... don't ask all right? Get this from Mozilla.org (less than 20 KB to download so no worries about that) use it to download YouTube videos stay happy - that's all you have to do! ;)
